Dr Daniel Rowe MBBS, FRACS ( Plas)

​

Dr Dan Rowe is a qualified Hand and Plastic Surgeon, working predominantly at Greenslopes Private Hospital and visiting the Princess Alexandra Hospital.  His medical training was through the University of Queensland, and training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery was undertaken in Queensland and Victoria.  He had the pleasure of learning from world leading surgeons in both states, including Professor Wayne Morrison OA, a recognised international pioneer of hand surgery.

Dr Dan Rowe has extensive experience in both the private and public setting treating hand injuries of all types.  He is recognised as a highly skilled microsurgeon, and has been involved in the treatment of many devastating hand and upper limb injuries, assisting his patients to return to both their work place and  recreational activities.  He has multiple operating sessions available to treat his patients, and a skilled and attentive team behind him to make both the patients experience and the referrers experience as easy as possible.  This includes in-house hand therapy.

Dr Kieran Rowe MBBS, BMedSci, FRACS (Plas), DipMus

Dr Kieran Rowe is a qualified Hand and Plastic Surgeon.  He works publicly at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, and privately at Greenslopes Private Hospital, St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital, Brisbane Private Hospital, Mater Private Hospital and The Wesley Hospital. 

 

After completing his medical degree at the University of Melbourne, he underwent his basic training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, going on to commence General Surgery advanced training.  Having developed an interest in Plastic Surgery he commenced a PhD under the supervision of Prof Wayne Morrison OA, an international leader in Plastic Surgery, and Hand Surgery.

Dr Kieran Rowe commenced his Plastic Surgery training in Melbourne, focusing primarily on hand surgery, before moving back home to Brisbane where he trained in the major Plastic Surgery centres at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Royal Brisbane Hospital and Mater Hospital.  During this time he continued his training in hand surgery, obtaining extensive experience in major hand trauma, as well as all other aspects of hand surgery, both emergent and elective.   

 

Dr Kieran Rowe offers a comprehensive service, aiming to facilitate both a streamlined referral process and an optimal patient experience and outcome.  With regular operating, both in and after hours, along with attentive followup, aided by his dedicated team of nursing staff and hand therapists in house, he is happy to take referrals at any time, day or night.

Dr Rebecca Won B.Med, FRACS (Plast.), PFET (Hand Surgery)

​

Dr Rebecca Won is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon with further Post Fellowship Education & Training (PFET) in Hand Surgery.

​

Her plastic surgical training was completed in tertiary hospitals in Queensland and Victoria, and concluded in early 2014. Additional specialised post fellowship training was undertaken in Sydney, at internationally respected Hand & Peripheral Nerve Surgery Units at Royal North Shore Hospital and Macquarie University Hospital. She commenced private practice in Brisbane in 2016.

Dr Won is a member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society, the Queensland Hand Surgery Society, and the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. She works publicly as a VMO in both the Plastic & Reconstructive and Hand Surgical Units at Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital. She operates privately at Mater Private Hospital South Brisbane, Greenslopes Private Hospital, and St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital.

​

Dr Won manages a wide range of hand and wrist pathology both in the acute and elective settings. She aims to have all her patients well educated on their condition and all the options to treat it. She works closely with a core group of hand therapists to safe & expedited return to daily activity, work and hobbies.
